The divan (spelled in Persian and Kurdish as "دیوان") is another long-necked lute belonging to the baglama family of musical instruments. Note that if we consider the baglama a medium-sized long-necked lute, then the "cura" should be considered small-sized and the divan large-sized. Among the Turkish people, this instrument is called "divan sazı". Note that the Ashiqs in Azerbaijan call their main instrument "saz", and a less popular name is the "qopuz". (Nasehpour, 22.01.26)
